A red light district is an area of the city with a high density of salons, brothels, cabarets and other sex industry establishments. In Switzerland there are no red light districts in the European tradition (such as Amsterdam-De Wallen or Hamburg-St. Pauli) - the sex industry is more spatially distributed and discreet.
Swiss concentration clusters: Zurich-Langstrasse, Geneva-Pâquis, Basel-Webergasse/Klybeck, Bern-Kocherpark area, Lugano-Pregassona.
