This data protection declaration describes how we collect, process and use personal data in connection with the use of our website ero-blog.ch. It applies in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG/nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data will not be merged with other data sources. The data is evaluated exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation, to ward off attacks and to improve our offering. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR or Art. 31 Para. 2 DSG).
2.2 Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, your details (name, email address, telephone number, content of the message) will be stored by us in order to process your request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b or f GDPR or Art. 31 DSG.
2.3 Hosting at Infomaniak (Switzerland)
This website is hosted in Switzerland at Infomaniak Network SA, Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, 1227 Les Acacias / Geneva. Infomaniak is ISO 27001 certified and operates its data centers exclusively in Switzerland. As part of hosting, technically necessary data (see 2.1) is processed. 3. Cookies and Tracking
This website uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage). When you visit for the first time, a cookie consent banner appears, allowing you to decide which categories are permitted.
3.1 Necessary memory
This data is necessary for the operation of the website and cannot be deactivated:
- cookie_consent (localStorage) – permanently stores your cookie setting on your device until you reset it.
- connect.sid (session cookie) – only in the protected admin area, expires after 24 hours.
3.2 Statistics & Analysis (opt-in)
We only use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to anonymously analyze website usage with your express consent. The following cookies can be set:

We use Google Consent Mode v2: Analysis cookies are only set after your consent. No analysis data will be collected without your consent. IP addresses are transmitted anonymously. 3.3 Advertising & Sponsored Content
On ero-blog.ch, editorial banners and sponsored posts are occasionally displayed. No third-party advertising tracking cookies (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Pixel) are set. Banners link directly to external providers; a click takes you to their website, whose data protection regulations apply independently.
3.4 Embedded third party content
Individual posts may contain third-party content embedded (e.g. videos from YouTube/Vimeo). When you access such posts, data (in particular your IP address) may be transferred to the respective provider. We have no influence on this data transfer. Please note the data protection declarations of the respective providers.
3.5 Revocation of consent
You can revoke your cookie settings at any time. To do this, delete the cookie_consent entry in your device's browser settings (application storage / localStorage), or reset the settings via your browser menu. The banner will appear again the next time you visit.
4. External fonts and resources
This website only uses locally hosted fonts and icons. No external font or CDN services (e.g. Google Fonts) are loaded that would transmit your IP address to third parties.
5. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) for all data transmission. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar of your browser.

7. Retention period
Personal data will only be retained for as long as it is necessary for the respective purpose or as long as there are legal retention requirements. Server log files are usually automatically deleted after 14 days. Contact requests by email will be deleted after 12 months unless there is an ongoing process.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The current version will then apply to your next visit.
