Patentbewilligung

The patent approval is the cantonal or municipal permission to operate a salon, establishment or massage institute. Requirements typically:

• Personal suitability of the operator (no relevant criminal record entry)
• Proof of fire protection, hygiene, minimum standards
• Location in a permissible zone (not purely residential zone)
• Proof of insurance
• Concept for the protection of sex workers (emergency call, security)

The permit is limited (usually 5-10 years) and can be used for Violations (suspicion of human trafficking, illegal work, fire safety deficiencies) are withdrawn.
