Swiss criminal law (Art. 197 StGB) distinguishes between soft and hard pornography:

  • Soft pornography (consensual adult sexuality) is permitted; Making it available to people under 16 is a punishable offense.
  • Hardpornography (sex with minors, animals or with violence) is always punishable - production, possession and consumption.

For the adult industry (OnlyFans, Cam, Studio pornography) this means: Age verification of all people depicted (plain text ID + selfie + contract), no content with minors or scenes depicting violence, clear separation of production and distribution.
