Cabaret

Swiss term for strip bar - historically closely linked to sex work.

In Swiss usage,

Cabaret is the name for a strip bar in which (mostly female) dancers perform in front of guests and work as animation/conversation partners after the show. The transition to sex work is smooth, but legally separate: cabaret work as such is not sex work.

Until 2016, there was a cabaret dancer status in Switzerland (L permit specifically for foreign dancers). This was abolished because it demonstrably led to the exploitation of women from third countries (especially Eastern Europe, Latin America). Cabaret is now practically only staffed with FZA permits.
